Now don’t take my word on it I am not exactly a food expert but I like food just as much the experts do.
I didn’t make great plans when it came to Veronian restaurants, I like to choose as I go. We visited some places during our stay as we were hoping for great Italian food and weren’t really super impressed, but in case you go and wonder what is okay price for good food, here are a couple of places we tried.
This is a small restaurant in shopping district that servers Veronian food. I had a Horse pasticada. With a bottle of Vino. It was nice but I prefer Croatian Pasticada much more. Gnocchi in this place were too soggy and there weren’t enough sauce.
If you prefer to eat with a view and stroll thought the centre, I think the best view place is around Arena where you can really take in the outdoors and enjoy the environment.
The best choice in my opinion is a little restaurant called Tapasotto which has quite unusual Tapas food. And is my recommendation if you are looking for something different. Beware the menu is in Italian and you will struggle to understand it even in English.
And after all if you don’t fancy eating a lot but prefer just finger food and some nice drinks you can visit Aquila Nera for some nice Rossini cocktails.
