So you probably know what for the past two months I have been in Croatia. I also arrived to Croatia with my car , which Charles passionately hates. He doesn’t understand why of all cars I decided to drive a mini Cooper. I like Coopers – I think they are cute. On our way to Croatia we drove 26 hours non stop, and it was really tiring. This time on the way back, we decided to stop somewhere to sleep because I did not want to drive back for 26 hours again with no sleeping.
Even though I am very used to flying everywhere, there are some trips I believe are made to be taken by car. We have been very tired of driving, but it is such a nice experience to actually stop in different countries and get the most of your trip. Please do keep in mind that sleeping is important, and driving without stopping is very dangerous.
We decided that the best thing to do is to stop in Nuremberg , Germany, have a nap and explore the city in the morning. Unfortunately it was Sunday, and all the germans had a hangover. We were alone in Nuremberg.
In the morning when we woke up, we went for a little stroll. I have been to Nuremberg before, but I never had a chance to really see it during the day as at that time I was recording my first album, and singing was all I was doing at that time.
It was nice to be back, and Nuremberg is really pretty and interesting. Did I mention freezing? Stupid, I didn’t take any sweaters with me. I was probably hoping for warmer weather.
The steps were slippery and iced so we had to be careful coming down. This is Charles being careful. He looks stupid 😀
After some walking we got up to a small Hotel dedicated to all famous people named Paul. I know it is strange.
We had some coffee just before we decided Nuremberg was too quiet and maybe we should go around and find some area that is a bit more busy 🙂
Those of you that like to follow Charles and me on Instagram will know our photos there are completely different from the ones I post on my blog. So don’t forget to follow us there and see what else we are up to 🙂
