Style

Keeping it simple

Let’s get boring.

So first I am going to start with a little thing I find upsetting. You really do not need a lot of money to dress well. You don’t need shoes worth thousands of pounds and you don’t need super expensive jeans. You need cheap ,comfortable everyday items that will make you look like you take care of yourself and that will represent your personal style. I will not be a hypocrite – I have a pair of shoes that are worth £1500. I got them in Venice from Rene Caovilla. They are beautiful and embellished with Swarovski crystals but I wear them on a rare occasion and only if I’m going with a taxi. I am too scared to ruin them, because they cost me so much money. It is nice to have an expensive piece of clothing but it is not satisfying if you can not wear it. So I decided to stop that. Seriously! I change my style quicker than my mind. I prefer quantity, because one expensive outfit means nothing to me if I have nothing else to wear. On my blog you can see the clothes I wear and they are affordable to anyone. They are in everyone’s budget no matter where you are from. Money can’t buy you style, and if you have style than you can look good and classy and cool no matter how much money you spend. Even if you buy second hand! When I shop online I try not to spend over 30£ on an item unless they are shoes or bags… then I am going up to 50£. Of course it depends on the occasion… I would buy a Chanel bag, but then again…it’s Chanel 🙂 First of all – online shopping can be dangerous, especially if you live somewhere where shipping takes weeks. But today, online shopping is the only shopping I do. I am too busy to walk around the shops, and I hate browsing the hangers and trying things out. A lot of women love the experience but I personally can not stand it, unless – of course – I am buying something expensive. By the time I get to the shop I am sweaty, I am thirsty, I am tired and bloated… I can’t keep track of the money I spent – ‘’Do I want it? Hmmm? I’ll think about it’’ – then I never come back to buy it. So today I am presenting you with this camel look. It is a bit boring in terms of colours but sometimes I like to go neutral. I always try to do all my outifts from the same shop, but as always all links are included.

This whole outfit is from a shop called LilyLulu and if you like something from there you can use the code ‘’ella15’’ to get 15% off your purchase. To be honest it is not much of a discount unless you buy a lot, but it is something…. I hope in future I can get you bigger discounts. Also the code id valid forever so use it when ever you want.

So the Camel coat is without sleeves, so it is not really a coat, however the material is really nice and soft so the whole thing just compliments the figure. If you like the coat click here, and use ella15 on checkout to get 15% discount.

Like the washed out jeans? I love them! So comfortable! Really apically surprised at how nice they are…. they looked a bit small when they came in, but I did the typical ”Throw yourself on the back and suck in” thing that most women do. I closed the button…It was a success. Jeans you can get here.

How about switching it up and adding faux leather? I added my #THELEGENDARYJACKET to the mix. Those of you who don’t know about #THELEGENDARYJACKET the story is simple. I have been wearing this jacket for so long that everyone started begging me to buy a new one. It has it’s own hashtag. I promised to my readers that once I find #THENEWLEGENDARYJACKET I will give #THELEGENDARYJACKET to someone.

Okay but what about the bag Ella? So the Hong Kong Clutch is by a new and upcoming designer called Francesca and you can get it at Fashion Connector . Bag is made from Eco Leather, so no animals have been hurt in the making of this post. Lovely, bag, amazing design and really good quality. I love the mustard yellow even with the camel outfit, it just gave me some contrast and made the outfit stand up a bit. It comes with two belts in different sizes, which is a great touch because sometimes you want it on a long leash…and sometimes on the short leash… like your men 😉

Check out all the other bags from Francesca Here… There is another one of hers I like — > this one. Now that I know her bags look awesome in real life i have no doubt about purchasing another one soon.
